I saw a picture of Havana and it thought me by spheres and colors. Not being able to paint realistic I started to put down the sphere. Later it appeared that my lover went to Cuba. The country kept on coming in my mind. This morning I gave it a try. Let’s see if someone wants to buy it. Otherwise I paint over as usual. Always shy about the outcome of some realism. And than to fall in love with somebody who is only selling realism.

Tiny's paintings depict defining moments in her life, a central theme she has termed, 'Patterns of Life'. The patterns of life tell a story of the different processes and experiences that are so fundamental to human beings. Her inspiration comes from nature, her immediate surroundings and the stories she hears or reads. Her work is abstract figurative, and uses cheerful colours to express her creativity and enthusiasm. She often works with an art scraper, which she uses to scrape sand and paint onto her canvases. Tiny's work is described as uplifting, colourful and dynamic by her collectors She wants her paintings to create a moment where the thinking process stops and the intuition takes over.
