Hello Spring! CV2023 Print

I recently moved to Vancouver Island and the saturated colours and rugged landscapes all around me have influenced my work. This work captures early spring. The clouds are heavy but the beach is showing signs of the warming sun. This Northwest Pacific crow is enjoying the break in the weather and is perched on the log breakwater, at Goose Spit, overlooking the Strait of Georgia. Although a painting I use line to show expression and to create movement in the work.
