ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My inspiration came from the landscapes of Castilla Leon (a region of Spain), where sometimes villages are located on top of a hill in order to prevent them from attack of others invasions such muslims during a period of time named "Reconquista", which took place between 711 and 1492 A.D. I want to make viewers the simplicity of the painting but the importance of the history of our countries in our lifes. We have to know where we come from to know where are we going.

I was born and raised in Girona. I live in Cabanes, close to the border with France. Travelling around the world gives me the opportunity to discover places and people that awake my inspiration. I worked with the artist and painter Aurea Garcia, who made me feel confident and skilled. My style is oil and the materials are canvas or paper. My truly inspiration comes from the Impressionism movement, which began in France around the 1860's. Artists like Monet, Cezanne, Caillebotte, Sisley, Renoir or Degas , to name a few, are the ones who awoke my lifestyle and beliefs.
