"Home office" Print

A lot of people was forced to work from home during COVID19 lockdown. Virtual space has proven its reality. Video conferences, online meetings, online education and online business has become a „new black“ The Home Office style of working was an experimental way for business companies, which has proven that it is a possible way of working and also a possibility to save money on rental expenses of real estate and physical offices. Very typical still life of my kitchen table during lockdown. We have fed every toy while eating, that's for my son would finish his breakfast, lunch or dinner plate. I would like to mention wooden panel I used for painting. This wooden panel dates from the 80s I painted on covered by different types and color of spots and prints that have formed and appeared during 40 years. These are scratches and stains of various origins. The wooden surface retained the patina of time and archived various traces of frozen moments of life. It reminded me of the surface of the dining table, at which life routine happens every day: solving important problems, clarifying relations between family members, discussing future plans... each of these moments leaves an invisible mark in time.
