About The Artwork

It's the old train depot in Kansas City before they tore it down to build the new one. This was an area that flooded a lot, so it made sense to move it, but still the new one is nice, just missing some of the Victorian charm that Union Depot had. I'm not sure about piecing together a half dozen photos to try to recreate a forgotten time, but I enjoyed it and will try again. It's a challenge, and I do like that, plus I love history.

An interesting old artist from the Midwest. Well, I like to think I'm interesting, but others might say different. I paint, I draw, I sculpt, oh, and I play tennis but not too much. Currently enjoying "Plein Air" painting in and about the Kansas City metro area. (did I mention it's winter out there?)
