About The Artwork

48″ x 60″ mixed media painting on canvas by Kat Warren A vibrant city smothers the simmering heat of the day in the cool blue notes of ever present Jazz. Vestiges of heat still blanket the camouflage of evening lights, hiding most of the less than lovely reminders of humanity. Reflections from the street give witness to the timeless energy and ageless architecture of the “city that care forgot”. To those who live there it is home, to those who visit, they always return.
