About The Artwork

The Tripundra or the sacred mark of Shiva was the inspiration behind this piece. It's the three horizontal lines of vibhuti or sacred ash worn on the forehead by His followers. I saw a can of 'Monster' energy drink and it had three vertical scratch lines as the logo and I just had to paint this fun Kali with a can of monster as if she exists with us nowadays.
