About The Artwork
Oil on canvas. 2013. Some urban views make me gasp. The Kennedy Town flyover in Hong Kong - a narrow road bridge from which you can almost touch the tightly packed old tower blocks was the first urban landscape that made me hold my breath when we arrived in Hong Kong. I returned to it 4 years later and painted the view from Hong Kong University.
