About The Artwork
Am a professional artist and this about me as an artist you can know if you just simply google my name - Vitaly Leshukov. Originally designed by me from nature only one and unique. Is not a print or copy of other artworks, Handmade art painted on canvas with oil paints in the impasto style. The picture that I present to your attention is not a copy of which there are many in online stores, but a one-of-a-kind work of art, powerful strokes of bright paint make the picture vibrate, creating the feeling that the dragon is about to come to life. This picture is born of imagination studying the history and myths of the East. In Chinese legends, dragons are not evil and predatory snakes, as in other mythologies. They are wise rulers, magical helpers and numerous inhabitants of the Celestial Empire in their hypostases. From legends and beliefs, dragons moved into the art of feng shui and settled down quite comfortably there. The image of this creature in paintings or frescoes can convey its strength and energy to the owners, protect them from misfortunes and troubles.

Vitaly Leshukov was born in Ukraine, but has been living in Spain for many years, which of course is reflected in his landscapes but he also works in other styles and very successfully. The beginning of his artistic life is curious: a motorcycle accident, then 5 days in a coma. And after a difficult period of recovery and long reflection on life, he felt an overwhelming desire to paint. His work is a symbol of unyielding perseverance in the face of life's circumstances. Vitaly's art is multifaceted, contrasting color palettes evoke a strong emotional response. His favorite technique is impasto. Powerful strokes of thick oil paint make texture and volume contrast with light and create a real sense of movement and vibration on the canvas. His works are in private collections and museums worldwide: Switzerland, Taiwan, China, Ukraine. France, USA, Belgium, Israel, Kazakhstan, Ireland, Spain.
