About The Artwork

A feeling of power and hope is presented in this painting, wondering why women had to march for their rights and not have the same ones from the beginning as human beings. The protest signs cover various areas of frustrations, showing us frankly the simple rules that were broken. The little girl with the balloons is the sign of hope for the future generations, showing that this is a lesson to them but also a legacy. The balloons are presented in the entire 2018 collection as a sign of hope, hope that is still alive or dead on the floor. Rina, is trying to present in this collection called “Frustrations” the normality that women were or maybe still are refused, the struggle they go through but at the same time the capacity of not being tamed. The paintings are a lesson for those who still don’t know how to be better and a tribute for the ones who always stood tall and never gave up.

I have been drawing since I was a child, but I started painting a few years ago. I guess that life had to teach me some lessons before I could start painting. I had to live, feel and breathe different experiences that colored my soul so that I could paint from it. Though I didn’t explore art while studying Law at the University, my ambition and love for canvas and brushes guided me to learn all that I could about it. I’m always learning and creating, and I guess that is why I love painting so much. When I feel my contradiction I can create. When I create, there I am true. I believe that artists are defined by the work, passion and vision that is expressed in their creations. It is my mission to make your soul vibrate, each time you experience my art.
