Abstract oil painting by artist Lidia Papean, painted in 2023. "Lilu" is the embodiment of femininity, tenderness and the goddess of love. Japanese geishas were supposed to have these qualities. The artist was inspired by Japanese geishas and did not want to present a vulgar understanding, but to convey a sense of sophistication and femininity. In the picture you will see the intertwining of the main character of the picture with flowers and butterflies. This painting will be an excellent addition to an art lover's collection.

Moldova
Since childhood, I have had an innate craving for creativity. My favorite toys were paints, pencils, brushes and sketchbooks. While studying at a secondary school, I often participated in international competitions, where I won prizes. Fine art has become a part of my life. In order to develop as an artist on a more professional level, I received an art education. In my works I often use different painting techniques: watercolor, pastel, oil, monotypes, I emphasize painting with graphic details. Very often I write my works under the impression of images that I come up with myself. Looking for my own way of expression. I try to convey a unique style in each picture. The ideas that inspire me can be different: female images, still lifes, animals, landscapes, mysticism. Colors, paints, strokes and shapes have meanings. These meanings create a visual language - a dialogue between the artist and the viewer. During her life she painted more than 500 paintings, half of which are my own works. She lived for about 15 years in Turkey, Istanbul. There she carried out her creative activity. Many of my works I wrote to order for a collector, an antique dealer, who was my regular client for about 10 years. I have exhibited my work at mixed and regional exhibitions. I have an adult son and three wonderful cats. I love roses and horses very much. Constantly in my works you can see flowers and horses. I also teach at an art school in Moldova and am a member of the Union of Artists.
