Featured in: American Academy of Equine Art (AAEA) Spring 2017 Online Juried Exhibition Watching the young competitors in a pony show I was struck by the connection and trust between one particular girl and her pony. In this image I was drawn to the blinding sunlight, the crisp shadows on the ground and the warm light reflecting back up from the ground.
