Lofi Gemini Print

Lofi Music greatly influences the kind of paintings that I created in this Collection, so all the pieces that I created will listening to lofi will all begin with Lofi____. Basically being an artist who suffers from Bipolar, I spend many hours alone at home, creating artworks as a form of coping with my many internal and external struggles. The Lofi music I listen to creates a soothing and relaxing environment, which helps me to focus on completing a task, which could be cooking, or cleaning the house, or creating this very painting. I draw from a wide range of emotions to create these works of art. Sometimes sadeness, sometimes pain. In this particular painting I am drawing from frustration. Frustration with wealth, represented in the gold paint haphazardly sprayed everywhere, frustration with health, as you can see the angry red splotches, but mostly frustrations with self, as these are all the things I long for, but they seem to elude me. And being constantly of two minds; wanting all these things, and yet wanting to reject all these things, I feel that I stand in a state of constant Gemini, two beings of similar disposition, dancing forever together into the night, and I wonder when I will ever rise above, the never ending toil and suffering.
