Logos Print

This work is reflecting the idea of "Logos", the divine reason implicit in the cosmos, ordering it and giving it form and meaning. Ancient philosophers defined the logos as an active rational and spiritual principle that permeated all reality. Although we live in a naturalism paradigm of the world and have a worldview limited to only what we see and can touch, a deeper understanding of the surroundings will lead us to the fact that idea is primordial and matter is just one of the realisations of it. My works start from observing and analysing the world that surrounds us. Extracting small pieces of how the Zeitgeist expresses itself and depicting them in my artworks, I try to know and understand the universal truths. These truths combine and compose a worldview system given to the viewer. I do not offer my experience of reality, but rather disclosing the ideas that create the current reality. This way, my art tries to illuminate philosophical issues and shape human basic sense of what is and what matters.
