ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an impressionist landscape painting acrylic on large canvas size: 100x70x2 cms, created with a palette knife. This large painting was inspired by a photograph of the Scottish Highlands. working with an unusual colour palette , I've really enjoyed creating the atmosphere with muted tones. My paintings are created by applying many layers of paint with a palette knife which give the artwork texture and detail. The painting is signed on the front sold unframed and ready to hang (the sides of the canvas are painted in similar colour) there is no need to frame.
