About The Artwork

looking for the event horizon, a work inspired by the film interstellar about the fifth dimension, black holes and singularities. In this painting the object is an old grandfather who is trapped on the border between space and time, everything appears static, light is swallowed by darkness. all the mysteries slowly began to be revealed and he realized that he was in the fifth dimension, he tried to find a way to return by changing space and time, but everything would be in vain because what he had done had created a paradox. This painting is presented on canvas with acrylic paint as the medium. it will be very elegant and has a classic feel and full of meaning if placed on the right wall

I am a painter from Indonesia. I live in the city of Pacitan and am interested in painting. I learned to paint autodidactically by studying with senior artists. I like an expressive style with emotional strokes without leaving out any details on the main object. with characteristic colors that are striking and contrast with the object. Some of my works are inspired by issues of social, political and environmental upheaval that are happening around me. Apart from that, my painting ideas also arise spontaneously by paying attention to several objects that are rarely noticed and some of my works use my self-portrait as a model. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics, although it is not linear with my profession as an artist, but it really supports me in conceptualizing my work. Every year I always hold a painting exhibition, both collectively and in groups.
