About The Artwork
This is one in a series of 12 painting called "Vegetable Kingdom" that is my homage to the fantastic array of fruits & vegetable that sustain us and add so much pleasure to our lives. I am an urban gardener and love the fruits & vegetables I grow. Every day I draw inspiration and joy from my garden so it is only natural that I love to paint them. I try to capture their energy and the incredible life force that is a vegetable garden. I hope viewers will share my wonder at the amazing variety of colours and forms in the plants we grow and eat.
