About The Artwork

Rati (in Sanskrit means love, pleasure) in Hinduism, the goddess of love passion. Rati comes into our life either with a raging firestorm that incinerates everything around, then with an even and bright flame illuminating our path. What seemed characteristic to me, I tried to reflect in the Lotus Rati mandala, made in the form of a stylized image of a dynamic lotus flower. I would really like this mandala Lotus Rati to take people into an endless universe of love and happiness.

I was born, went to kindergarten, school, college in the USSR (since 1991 - Ukraine), the city of Cherkassy, where I live now. Yoga classes and sound recordings of satsangs by Robert Adams, an enlightened sage from the USA, had a great influence on my worldview. The desire to paint arose several years ago, which was the reason for attending an art school. However, the final choice of direction in art was formed thanks to yoga classes, studying the teachings and traditions of Buddhism, Hinduism. Inspiration comes as a result of meditative practices that allow you to feel the true foundations of the universe and arouse the desire to express these feelings on canvas, and the process itself takes place, as it were, without my "I". The style and techniques came true on their own: this is a mandala dot art painting, using canvas and acrylic paints. Thus, I did not have a direct teacher and am probably self-taught. Prizes, awards, exhibitions, collections --- still in the future. my Statement The style and techniques came true on their own: this is a mandala dot art painting, using canvas and acrylic paints. The subject matter of my work is the image of the mandala in a wide variety of incarnations. In Sanskrit, mandala means a circle, a sphere, a wheel, in the practices of Buddhism and Hinduism, a mystical diagram, a symbolic image of the universe. My works consist of an image of a mandala, as it seems to me, made of dots of different sizes and colors. As a rule, the image of each work appears spontaneously, under the influence of various factors, be it feelings and sensations arising during meditation, or sudden influx of figurative forms from nowhere. I would really like my works to help people to know their real "I", to open in themselves an endless universe of love and happiness, to feel the whole world in their palm.
