About The Artwork

We as human are a race that are divided into color, nationality, rich and poor and yet there are one thing that we all has in common, the earth. The way that we are dependent on each other the companies reduce pollution, the west buy more sensible products and the countries agree on quotas to reduce pollution. Yet there are a three kilometer thick brown cloud hanging over Asia and India. This brown cloud are responsible for the fast melting of the ice on Himalaya that are feeding Ganges in India. If all the snow melts then Ganges will dry out or reduce in size. This means mill of people will die and the people in power will have a riot on their hands. The irony are that if we invest in a new cooking equipment for the poor in Asia, India and Africa this cloud would not be a treat for the future. So in our quest for saving the earth we have overlooked an impotent factor, the way the poor cooks. By changing this by simple means this will make a major impact on the pollution. This is what mankind is about that everybody are responsible for each other and by ignoring some people the price are high. This piece are show at the International Art Expo in Venice 2015

I was born surrounded by nature, creative and the cold war. This mix of beauty and death keeps being a topic in all what I do. Not that it is death or roses but the contrast of light and dark and the light in the dark. I paint to make sense, to make my mind clear and to be able to be in this world. The only thing that ever has made my world understandable and made me able to get up in the mornings have and has always been creativity. I just stop exist if I don't express myself either in art, writing, design or creating experiences that are a form of art installation. It was not until 2000 that I made a full time focus on and into art. I learned that the only way to keep the creativity flow, grow and inspire I needed to be true to my own way and my own expression. It means that I always work beyond the nice expression to create a piece of art that I know can stand and Speak on it's own. It also means that I take around six months to create one painting and I work on more then one at the time. When I am done with a painting the process of finding the words and the name begins. It is a different process to the one done in colors, brushstrokes and shapes. The road of taking the inner process and intentions into written and spoken words take time. Together the words, the art and the interaction between the art and the viewer is what makes my art live and create new connections and stories. Theses stories is about the contrast of good and bad, the light or the dark. It is not that complicated but it is about more then me, it is the world I reflect upon and then the contrast of both sides in a debate with the canvas.
