"Melodies of the Baltic time ..." 2018 The picture is painted with acrylic on fiberboard, varnished. Framed. The picture was painted in the author's technique and stylization with splashes of pointillism. The painting was exhibited at two of my personal exhibitions in the historical museum of the city of Balta in 2018, 2019. This picture is dedicated to all the Jewish townships (shtetls) of Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova and Russia ... Dedicated to Yiddish culture! This picture touched the souls of many spectators at the exhibition! Some even shed a tear ... The picture continues the huge series of works "Fiddler of Faith". You can see some pictures from this series on my page in this gallery. Thank God for her! The picture is simply woven from seconds, minutes, hours ... (time) ... It breathes with music ... The violinist's heart is like a field covered with wheat of Hasidic melodies-songs (nigunim) ... Guess what melody his heart is playing? I know one thing for sure, in his melodies there is a lot of Ukrainian autumn... This golden, poetic time ) This painting is a lake! This picture is a geyser! This painting is a fountain! What do you catch in it? When will your heart sink into this? With the water of which symbol will your soul quench its spiritual thirst? This autumn painting burns like a torch with symbolism ... ) The violin grows into the Menorah ... Or the Menorah grows into the violin ... They are one! Because candles are wax (oil) melodies ... Melodies of fire, radiance ... These wonderful melodies burn and do not go out ... Illuminate the darkness of the soul, the world ... This violinist is a master of just such melodies ... My heart is ready to listen to his melodies for days ... And is your heart ready to hear his music? The picture is filled with the colors of Ukrainian, soft, gentle, poetic, southern autumn ... It is simply impossible not to fall in love with this autumn !!! ) In this picture, time itself acts as a musical instrument ... Do you hear its symphony in your body? The violinist dreams ... He smiles at his hopes, plans, expectations ... He knows that if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans ... He with a violin, as with a sickle reaps the wheat of notes ... Wheat of songs ... Wheat of melodies ... From grains of notes he will make flour of music and bake from it wonderful , soulful, deep songs-nigunim ... And the bread of his songs will never become stale ...
