About The Artwork
Inspired by trips to Martha's Vineyard as a young child. I loved all of the Vineyard in the 1970's but Menemsha Harbor was like super magical. We'd go there to fish or buy fish at the dock. My mother is a painter who painted there as well. I didn't start painting until I was 50 years. It's oil, one of my earlier paintings, and one of my favorites. I tended to be more tedious early on in my paintings.
