ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by the geometric and organic world. Geometric and organic shapes combine to create a new reality. Compositional and artistic decisions are made as the artwork progresses. Shading lifts flat planes and colours give depth and a sense of mystery. I'm looking to create work that is imagined and non representational, inviting the viewer to interpret meaning.

He went to Art College at Brighton polytechnic and later worked in sculpture casting studio in East London where he learnt the techniques of bronze casting. Simon first focused on sculpture and explored the relationship between man and machine culminating in the machine age series, which have been exhibited and sold worldwide. During this period he also worked as a commercial model maker. He continues to produce work in a variety of media and styles.
