Miniature from the series of works "Portraits of cats in miniature". Made on canvas with oil paints of the professional series "Master class" from the factory "Nevskaya palitra". Framed in Italian plastic. Behind a special device (hanger) for hanging on the wall. Single and original author's painting. Did you know that...? Among the representatives of this breed are entirely ladies and gentlemen. And how else, because the ancient genealogy does not imply anything else. Their whole being is fanned with aristocracy, starting with an irresistible appearance, ending with refined manners and a noble character. The British cat is recognized as one of the most ancient breeds in the world. It is believed that she was bred by crossing the Central European cat with the Egyptian. However, some scientists put forward a bold proposal that this breed appeared in the days of Ancient Rome. In ancient literature, there are references to powerful imposing cats with ashy velvet fur and huge orange eyes. There is another version, according to which French sailors brought gray cats to England. They took tailed satellites with them on board to catch rats. And they did an excellent job with this task. In support of the hypothesis, an argument is made that it was due to pitching that the paws of British cats became short and so strong.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
