Misty forest Print

Dominated by greens and pines, the palette consists of cool and calm colors with a hint of warm sunshine rays across the treetops. I chose 12 by 8 inches of canvas to paint this artwork. I absolutely love painting trees, but pines were my first experience. I discovered some new techniques along the way to create the feeling that I desired. I chose a hard bristle brush to dab paint across the canvas to create a leafy green demeanor to the overall painting. I love mountains, hills, clouds, smoky trails, treks, bag packs, and the sweet smell of adventure. Working on this piece of artwork sure took me on the trails that were the toughest and most fun to hike. The green palette in my artwork gives me a boost to do it all over again. Nature admirers and wanderlust souls might relate to the intricate details and pleasure carried by "misty forest".
