More Than You Deserve Print

This may not be a surprise by looking at my work but I struggle with a list of mental disorders. My whole life has been chaos and now that I'm finally in a place in my life where I am allowed to focus on healing, I find it very difficult to feel deserving of this opportunity. Am I deserving of this unconditional love that I am being shown? What do I do with it? Do I even want to know who I really am as a person? After 30 years of being controlled and abused it's questions I struggle with and will for a long while after writing this. I wanted to visualize my dark thoughts of self harm and the reason for it is not being worthy of the blessings in front of me. I do not self harm anymore, I'm past the physical harm. It's the emotional self harm that is prevalent. Heal through art!
