About The Artwork
This painting is inpired by the traditional folk art of India know as Pichwai art style. The cow and calf are represented as a symbolic love between mother and child. With a background of colorful warm colors and the palm tree the painting gives a contemporary look with which I have blended the traditional with the contemporary, calling it a "Folk- Fusion" The Gold foil used in the painting is my signature style of work and enhances the work by giving it a modern opulence.
