Multiverse Print

In June 2020, I choose to learn printmaking with linoleum cutting. I needed something new to do during my self quarantine. The forms are inspired by the wood grain shapes of the fence in my backyard. These forms were symbolic of the fence as my protection and isolation, yet also resembled celestial forms and cell structures at the same time. Printmaking was repetitive, like my days in self quarantine, like the cells replicating that kept me alive, like the planets rotating. I print 3 copies of each design, and mount them on an 12 x 18 archival mat board. Each print is slightly different from the next, so each artwork is unique and will be signed and dated on the back by the artist. 12 x 18 should be a standard framing size in most places.
