I have wondered if a house is a collection of desires that combine hope and dreams for modern people living in modern society. Even though it changed according to the situation at the time, I also seemed to have been constantly thinking about the ideal home to live in. When I was a child, I had a fantasy of an American-style house decorated with a large garden. Even now, there is no reason to refuse if I can live in a space overlooking the Han River, but I started thinking a little differently. Would you be happy if you live in a big house and a fancy house? Can it give you satisfaction? I can't say anything because I haven't lived in it yet, but if there is a space beyond the radius of my living and there is a dead space that doesn't go around, I think I'll feel anxious. So I became interested in minimalism and a small house, and I started to think about how much space I really need to live. And what kind of house can give you the greatest sense of happiness as a haven, the minimum space required for living, the space more than necessary for living, your own small small kingdom of home between the two spaces? I was worried. This worries led to my current desire and sense of frustration for a space where I can paint without being disturbed by anyone, and that point was the most important to create my ideal space in which the workroom and the living space in the work were combined. And the thought of looking at the finished work for a long time is perhaps the same desire for the house and the desire for space, and is it not the manifestation of hope and dreams for the situation where one feels sense of frustration while living in the present?
