If the temperature and boiling point of water are maintained from the first minute to the last, and the container remains open, at atmospheric pressure, a liter of pure water will take an hour to evaporate. A flower can take four weeks to disintegrate. I enjoy imagining the landscape and painting its constant abstraction, its irreversible dissolution.
