Freely interpreted portrait of the Brulé Sioux shaman, Kills two, from a photograph dating from 1880-1910. It is decorated with leggings and panties, a skin vest with metal discs, face paint, a headband and bracelets and cuffs. The figure is painted in black and white on a light pink background with red, yellow and green highlights and a black outline. His expression is placid, unusual with the unusual shamanism costume. Something strange and fascinating at the same time emerges. We wonder who he is, what he can be. One can imagine it being otherwise.
