About The Artwork
Painting, flooding technique. Acrylic on canvas (big...175 X 143 cm) controlled flooding with primary colours + purple (not good when mixed from so-called primaries) saturated into the canvas. Whites are from the canvas itself (like in true watercolour technique), never from the paint, though I can slightly cloud the acrylic base to give a 'veil' effect with a degree of opacity. It's very like a an old tri-chromatic silk-screen colouring process.
