About The Artwork
Portrait of a family from nepal. Their son had been living at my grandmothers for his time of studying in germany in the 1960s. I took the original color-negative as a model, to be as close as possible to what the camera actually recorded in that moment. The question behind that is, if the manifestation of light on the photografic film has a stronger connection to the persons pictured, than the developed pictures.
