Oh Mothers! Oh Bringers of Life I've Recently known about three women who had miscarriage or went through stillbirth, and about four others who also had their babies but didn't exactly get the gender they wanted(by they I meant their respective husbands) (which in turn has made them saddened). I've also seen about six that were delivered of their babies and got what brought out great joy in them. It has really been making me ponder more on motherhood, child bearing, and its delivery. Such a deep adventure. Oh mothers!! Oh bringer of life!! How I miss my mother!!!

My works are description of known souls that's locked inside everyone of us. They are layout of some obvious or hidden realities of human existence, as it pertains to daily living. My Narratives are inspired by the wisdom from the Yoruba Adages, and revolve around love, mental health, hope, betrayal, faith, romance, fashion, and encouragement of more kindness in the world. Things I believe can be experienced by everyone in the world, no matter their positions, status or location. The tempera and wash painting techniques are what I use in creating my pieces and collaging of newspaper prints are Paramount in my painting, to convey hidden narrations behind the experiences of each subject I am treating at every point in time With my works, I tend to focus on the feet upward, Providing a multiplicity of narratives for my audience to explore my metaphorical, ambiguous canvases oscillate between a sense of peace and abandonment, faith, tenuous hope. Forced into becoming voyeur, the viewer soon becomes the off-screen protagonist of a scene that is left for him or her to interpret. With my works, I deploy an invasive process to engage my audience: carefully framing my compositions to avoid representing faces, I focus instead on my characters’ feet and legs, as a metaphor in creating rich evocative narrations as a “mediums of shared identities" I aspire for my viewers to perceive my art as a gateway to deeper comprehension of individuals and their multifaceted nature, as well as a mirror through which they can gain insight into their own selves. I want to instill in people a heightened awareness of the complexities inherent in every person, the duality of their character, and the unique set of life experiences that shape their responses to others and the world around them. By engaging with my pieces, I hope viewers will embark on a journey of self-reflection, prompting them to consider their own place in the grand tapestry of existence and to embrace life's realities with renewed vigor and empathy.
