About The Artwork

Plein air 2006, Crimea. Bay in the Noviy Svet village, I like the play on words, which, translated into English from Cyrillic, will mean the New World .. this long pier is like a path through water and twilight, each time I involuntarily hold my gaze on this way to the horizon.

Dear friend, Maybe I'll change the description here someday, but for now, let it be. I am creating this profile for myself in a very unusual and difficult time, a time of war in my beloved dear country with my beloved and dear people. I am a person outside of social networks. For that matter, at my age, that's not surprising. I was born in 1961. For the last 15 years, most of the time I created paintings and sold through offline galleries, until the 2010s I participated in a large number of exhibitions (most of the photos from them, like paintings, were photographed on film cameras, there were no others then) oh well ... old fashion person, I thought again . But here's what I'll say. Life is an endless movement, an endless process, and apparently it was my turn to come out of the shell, to try many things again. Separately, I want to thank my daughter Mariia for inspiring me to new attempts. Time is not easy, and even crazy, and I'm trying to catch up with it. Probably, I would say the same about all my painting: to seize the moment, to catch and remember, to try to be in time and at the same time look for balance, harmony and peace within myself and in this life and to share all this with a world, to find meaning like all people- "grains of sand" on this planet. Thank you Kind regards Larissa
