About The Artwork
This painting was the final piece that I did in my MFA at NSCAD University, 2010-2012. It includes images of many of the works that I made during that time, and attempts to speak about the processes, experiments and influences which are important in understanding the work, but often are excluded in the final exhibition. This painting seeks to make explicit the relationships of these tangents to the final work, and to highlight their importance in the narrative of creation.
