About The Artwork
This work was inspired by a lot of thinking and isolation. When I produced this work we were still living the Covid-19 Pandemic in a very hard situtation. Making this painting in isolation helped me to cope with what was happening. As always I chose oil painting because I felt the textures it would provide me would suit the atmosphere of this piece.

His works include oil paintings and mixed techniques in private collections and sound installations. Érico is also a musician and his production is closely linked to sounds and music. Érico was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of 28 years old and many times his work is focused on exploring themes related to his condition such as masking, sensory issues and others.
