I work with the symbolism of geometry and my self created calligraphy as a representation of life-death and the overlooked moments day-to-day that shape our paths. The circular shape plays a role in many Native American beliefs and traditions but also for other cultures in the world. This shape represents the continuous pattern in life, the path of the sun and moon, and other significant rituals. As a Vinyl records enthusiast I use the circle as a representation of Time, the most valuable resource in our lives. Instead of using words, I choose to use a series of calligraphy symbols that I created in order to add poetry over the canvas..
