About The Artwork
The painting "Old brush" was painted in 2017 in the technique of oil painting. It depicts my husband's old brush, which has seen a lot in its lifetime. Part of the pile has worn off, layers of paint have appeared on its handle, it has acquired its own unique character and charm. Pasty strokes of paint emphasize the reliefs and textures in this work.
