This painting was inspired by the terrible pandemic that swept the world in 2020. Three bright orange monsters dominate the canvas. They represent the Coronavirus as little monsters with big teeth out to wreck havoc. A drawing of a bat sits in the top right hand corner, a reference to the iconic story (myth?) that it started from a man eating a bat. The picture is chaotic in style, reflective of the chaos in the world. The painting has numerous found objects on it including; a paint tube top, fabric, mesh, metal, carboard, paper and even a film strip.
