This painting is symbolic of the protests during 2020. The people marching were 'on fire' as they gathered against brutality, against bigotry, against hatred, against the history of hate in our country. The painting has nothing to do with the looting and rioting. That was not the purpose of the people standing in solidarity, marching for peace, inclusion and equal treatment for all people.
