The Civic Library of Cuneo is pleased to host the exhibition project "There are no errors" with recent paintings by the artist Domenico Olivero. The exhibition follows in the footsteps of the poetics of Charles Bukowski, whose centenary of his birth this year. The artist and the writer share the innovative approach in changing the register of tradition, no longer an emphatic and aesthetic vision but a vital and authentic perception, with all the consequences and complexity. The American author was the creator of a sincere and unrestrained writing, free from "good education", so is the series of paintings created by the artist that are presented on this occasion. These are six works that for several years, some even a dozen, the artist has slowly stratified, without a precise pattern and structure, works in the form of loyal emotional intensity, born from visceral states that over time have overlapped, accumulated; expression of past times, which change and consolidate forming a temporary present. A reading with a selection of poems by Charles Bukowski will be held in support of the exhibition on Saturday 14 March at 10.30. “...wide horizons in looking for new ideas, symbols, techniques, to go on evolving in indefinite worlds, putting apart sure goals and what is important is changing learning static situations, where everything is, from prehistory up to the present, linked to the future, without limits and dimensions in a research of new relationships between forms and languages to open our mind. We have to feel alive on a planet where we want to forget our roots, meant as nationalism, elements of division but taken again as a global patrimony, and you can understand that everything is a way to express one's being, way of existing, in a continuous research of communication with other human beings with a free glance, in a direct relationship with reality, with life traces...” Domenico Olivero 1993
