This work was created two days before the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into my peaceful country. My husband made a gift to me with this bouquet for Valentine's Day. I gave lessons to my young students and at the same time we monitored the advance of the military to our borders. In those days, my optimistic outlook on life tried to fight reality. This picture was created with great faith in the beauty that man can create and that the best nature of man will triumph in every single person who takes up arms, with the belief that they will not be able to use weapons against the civilian population of their neighbors, that they leave, and we will continue to work and enjoy our life. In short, it was created with a firm belief in the better nature of mankind. The technique in which I create my work during this period has not changed. This is an experimental painting with liquid acrylic. I love acrylic in this condition. It opens up wide opportunities for opening new horizons in painting, which I am still studying. And since I love everything new and unknown, now this is my favorite material.

I love working with liquid acrylic. The primary factor in deciding the choice of material was the fact of my motherhood. Acrylic makes it possible to work quickly with maximum concentration and expression, which always gives me a lot of adrenaline. Each picture is the thoughts and feelings of a particular moment. In the technique in which I paint, acrylics have an independent fluidity, which reminds me of the ideas of surrealism in the works of Salvador Dali, who, in general, was my first teacher in comprehending the world of art at the age of 13, when I got a present for my Bday with a large printed collection of his works with diary notes. Later to my education joined Jackson Pollack with his irresistible energy, and Edvard Munch with his desperate love of life. Of course, there were other teachers, such as Pablo, with his outrageous rejection of all existing rules and norms, Modigliani with an invincible faith in the grace of the soul of his models .. and many others. My style is a symbiosis of surrealism and expressionism mainly. So I wish you to enjoy!
