About The Artwork
gold as a working material is timeless, perfect, modern and absolutely archaic. I started to use gold in my works as a versatile material that offers different possibilities, be it in structure or colorfulness. I am fascinated by the interaction between the gold and the painting, and especially the effects and color tones that are created. Gold has a color with psychological power or effect, which often hides a special symbolism behind it. In my works I often refer to architecture.
