About The Artwork
I love the ocean in all its moods. We visited Iron Springs in January but it was so rainy we only had a couple hours to get down to the beach. I used a palette knife and a rag and some brushes, and used transparent red oxide to render the late afternoon colors. This was an alla prima piece.
