About The Artwork

The painting is about our main fear and self-deception. We are afraid of punishments, criticism, condemnation.. we are afraid to fall, afraid to start all over again, afraid for our health, for our comfort, for our stability. But most of all we are afraid of freedom. We always subconsciously want freedom.. strive for it.. dream of it. But freedom is our most important fear, because freedom is really scary. On freedom you remain one on one with yourself and the outside world. There is no longer a person who tells you what to do to make everything good. There are no rules and regulations that say what to do to live quiet and calm.. normal, like other people. Freedom is subject only to the strong, the bold and the determined. And we should be like that. Otherwise, the meaning of life is lost, its very essence is lost. Freedom will tell you how much you're really worth. Perhaps you will be beaten back into slavery, or even the fear of death will not be able to bring you back.
