ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Starting with heavy layers of paper as a textural base. Layers of copper tones are topped with various hues for blues and greens to create a patina effect. Lastly the ridges are accented with copper paint and leaf to bring the texture to focal again. The texture and colors cover the sides. So no frame is needed yet would look just as good in a deep floating frame. Signed on the side, to allow the collector to rotate the work as they please.

Several pieces in Tampa Bay galleries, and sold pieces throughout the US. An alumni of 2022 Gasparilla Festival of the Arts Emerging Artists. Influenced by the pasts abstract expressionism. Yet intrigued by new techniques, I blend them with traditional knowledge to create unique works. Being self-taught, I'm free to experiment and develop art as I see fit. Creating works that are less confined and open to interpretation. Mainly concentrating in abstract art. Mixed media is an oversimplified definition, with the use of different materials and acrylics to create paintings that are textural and inquisitive.
