Russell Hinckley, born Sheffield,England and now living in Vlaardingen, Holland. My inspiration comes from my trips to Kenya and Tanzania. I get pleasure out of creating artwork based on my own photo's. To give something extra I like to create texture by using modelling paste, sand or just thick oil paint. The interaction of light can then lighten up the details. Before painting I always know what I want the end result to be and spend sometimes months creating my work. When finished, I hope to have created something that is totally unique. Painter since 2007 with african animals as preferred topic.
