Lucio Fontana was a great and innovative artist. Famous throughout the world, he transformed unseen space into works of art. I like his concept of another perspective, an idea that is very close to my research and my work. Transforming common objects or simply fruit or pears into a message makes you think and broaden your mind. In Italian the fruits that are the subject of the work are called Pere, in English pears. The word perennial in Italian translates to Perenne so a play on words is created without changing the meaning in the two languages. Perenne Fontana means perennial Founta and is the concept that inspired my painting. Today many artists copy the idea of cutting the canvases and many galleries continue to offer works by Fontana, honestly they are bored. Basically I transform the fruit into an ironic artistic message that wants to induce the visitor to see something new

A creative person needs examples and can observe and acquire them through work, cultural and sentimental experiences. The more you experience, the more message takes shape. The decision to change often occurs thanks to episodes immediately considered trivial; when they happen, the objectives change. As far as I'm concerned, the desire to leave my message has given me the tools to take care of my art, of my written words with a full presence in the creative world. In my works, both artistic and literary, I want to show another vision, different from the obvious one and before everyone's eyes. A hidden perspective and message that if seen will make you think. It's not easy to remember what my first thoughts were on October 10, 1969, shortly before I was born in Turin (Italy), but I know for sure what my father and mother thought. I feel the same feelings towards my daughter Marina, born from my marriage to Elena, thoughts that often inspire my artistic works and which have inspired the story told in my books. Living in a difficult city forced me to free my mind, direct my ideas towards art as creation. Creating allows me to talk about life and the problems of a world that conditions existence. I have the memory of my father who taught me to dream, to create and to write poems, aphorisms and stories. Over time, memories and colors have become a pleasant, private and personal game. Growing up in a difficult neighborhood shaped me and my family helped me chase my goals. The idea of telling life through painting, photography, Land art, Street art, the people I met has made my art a channel of communication. Young people and adults of all ages have always been an example for me where I can draw ideas. Curiosity made me discover many crumbs of truth in the history of this strange world.
