About The Artwork

Summer afternoons were often spent with a basketball and an old hoop in someone's driveway. This abstract gives the feeling of summer, lazy evenings, the feel of cooling asphalt, and not a care to be found. Painted on wallpaper as a lovely soft-to-the-touch substrate, the measurements might be off square a bit. I will hinge-mount the painting in an 11x14 outside measurements mat with cardboard to support for shipping. If you would prefer the painting to be mounted on cradled board with spray adhesive, please request it. No hardware included.

Shipping & Returns

I am so happy to see you here! I am an intuitive abstract artist based in Vermont. My art has no predetermined outcome, as it begins with meditation, a word, or a thought. Many times nature finds its way into the painting – a flower, a tree, an animal, or humans going about their day. But the process is the same, the child's play of mark-making, followed by the colors of experience, then the acceptance of what remains to be seen as well as the importance of breath and space. I often paint on substrates other than canvas or art paper. I love finding forgotten rolls of wallpaper at tag sales or at thrift stores, as the heavier, unpasted papers are sturdy and offer a pleasing upcycled surface for my acrylic paints.
