About The Artwork

The painting is part of the Hidden Beauty painting series, launched in July 2023. The painting is painted with acrylic paints on a canvas support, partly covered with gold schlagmetal, the sides are painted in the background color. The painting is varnished with a glossy varnish, the sides are painted in the background color. The whole thing is deliberately distorted. There is a four-leaf clover in the ball. The only ball has its portions preserved. The painting was inspired by W. Szymborska's poem "Portrait of a Woman".

I started my adventure in art studies in 2010 at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń - Faculty of Fine Arts - Artistic Education in the field of visual arts. In 2013, I defended my bachelor's degree. In the same year, I changed my specialization to Drawing Media and obtained the title of Master of Arts in this field in 2015. I defended my theoretical and practical diploma under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Wiesława Anna Limont, prof. and Prof. dr hab. E. Jabłońska. Both works were distinguished and nominated for the Janusz Bogucki medal. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists of the Toruń District. I paint with oil and acrylic paints on canvas and sheet metal. The main theme of my work is people, especially women. Her emotionality introduces the viewer into a kind of dialogue. Balloons and chairs often become the heroes of the paintings. However, from 2022 I started a series of paintings with patterns. My paintings reflect the stage on which the theatrical role is played. You can go directly into the presented story and pick it up personally or read it like a book, wondering what will happen next. Reading the image can be the key to interpreting the intended, multi-faceted message. For many years I worked with people with mental disorders. Professional experience has helped me to better understand human problems, suffering and lack of optimism. That is why I want my art to contain more positive emotions, so that my paintings become medicine, giving joy and good thoughts to others. My paintings are in many private collections in Poland and abroad, including in England, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain and the Czech Republic. My paintings regularly take part in auctions and charity auctions organized by, among others, Galeria Projekt 101, Mazowiecki Auction House, Galerie Vratislavia, Galeria Next. Some of my works have been selected by the director and chief advisor of the French gallery Artmajeur for the online collection of the best paintings of the month.
